I grew up in Aiea, graduated from Punahou School's class of '95, and received a Bachelor of Science from Oregon State University. Soon afterwards, I moved to California to attend the University of California, Los Angeles.  I earned my Dental degree from UCLA's School of Dentistry in 2008.

Prior to returning home to Hawai'i, I provided a wide variety of dental services in residency at the Sepulveda VA Hospital located in North Hills, CA and as an associate dentist in Northern Los Angeles.  When I returned, I worked both in the dental clinic setting and in private practice on the leeward side of Oahu before finally settling on the windward side.

Now, I live and work in beautiful Kane'ohe.  I am a proud member of the U.S. Air Force’s Hawaii Air National Guard. My days off are filled with family events and kids activities; baseball, soccer, gymnastics, dance, you name it! However, when I can sneak out, I enjoy playing softball with my fellow Guard members, surfing and golf.

I look forward to providing you with all of your general dentistry needs.

I am a California native and have been honored to call Hawai’i home since June 2020. Prior to Dental School, I was a graduate of California State University, Northridge (CSUN). I received my dental training from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC in 2020. In July 2020, I began my Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program at Kokua Kalihi Valley Family Comprehensive Services Health Center in Oahu, Hawai’i.

During my spare time, I enjoy running, playing the drums, listening to various genres of music, cooking, trying new restaurants and exotic dishes, as well as going on hikes with my canine companion, Duke. Since moving to Hawai’i, I have discovered my passion for surf and added it to my list of hobbies. I enjoy living an active and healthy lifestyle surrounded by friends and family whenever possible.

As a first generation Mexican American and college graduate, I aspire to become a pioneer dentist whom devotes his time to serving his community, and providing better access to care to those not only in the local community.
